I often compare content to dating: an interest in long term results means a commitment to the audience and a commitment to quality. It also means mastery of the basics: clever copy, polished SEO, and consummate organization.
Content is hard. It's also so much fun that I have butterflies in my stomach when I think about work—much like other things I care about: sailing, dance, good literature and authentic relationships.
